On Friday\, July 3\, the community members picking up their Fourth of July feasts can also take a moment to send a "message from home" to U.S. military personnel.\n \n\nThe bakery cafe is partnering with Operation Quiet Comforts\, a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to providing physical and emotional support to America's military men and women. Representatives from the organization will be on-site with greeting cards\, inviting the public to sign personal messages of appreciation and encouragement to be included in upcoming troop care packages. \n \n\nJuly 3 is the official pick-up day for Fourth of July pre-orders. In addition to the bakery's signature handcrafted dessert pies and artisanal sides\, this year's holiday menu features an exclusive savory collaboration with Lalo's BBQ. Customers who pre-ordered can pick up full or half slabs of Lal's BBQ Ribs and smoked brisket. The bakery cafe will also feature on-site sales to help complete any holiday spread.
